The faucet on the bath tub broke off and there is no way to fix it at home. So, what do i do now?

The pieces that connected the faucet to the pipe are all broke. The faucet on the bath tub broke off and there is no way to fix it at home. So, what do i do now?
It sounds like the cartridge has come out, possibly broken out. If the threads in the hole where the water comes streaming out are not severely damaged then it might be as simple as finding a replacement cartridge at a hardware store and threading into the faucet body that you can see in the wall.

If you have any parts left that have come out of that opening and/or you can see any kind of brand name on the faucet or handles, take those parts and information to any decent plumbing section of a hardware store to look for a replacement.

From the information you've given this is the best possible scenerio that I can come up with. I hope it helps, good luck.
