when i turn my bath faucet to the regular 'on' position it turns off. when i turn it to the 'off' position, the water runs. HelpBath faucet problem??????
sometimes you can remove the stem on the faucet and turn it 180 degrees to remedy this.Bath faucet problem??????
Is this on something recently installed or has it been a 5 year old problem? If it is new, you or your plumber installed it backwards. Call him to come make it right.
As long as hot is hot and cold is cold, this is not an emergency.
the problem is somebody put the wrong stem in there are hot water stems and cold water stems and if you put the hot on the cold or visa,versa they work backwards .
It seems your water valve was installed backwards don't worry as long as you still git water when you need it.
The whole thing was installed backward. I agree with the above mentioned answer
